“I am an embroidery artist and workshop facilitator from West Yorkshire. I create vibrant hand-stitched sculptures, wall art, and installations. My artistic practice is playful and full of joy. I transform waste and discarded materials into embellished treasures. I then hand-stitch them onto fabric.”

“I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in Leeds. I work in a range of mediums, including watercolour paint, ink, pencil, oil paint, and pastels. I am most often influenced by my natural surroundings, Leeds’ wild spaces, and the various plant and mycological species found within them.”

● The entrance to the classroom is opposite the main house and barn.
● A concrete ramp leads up into the classroom.
● There are hand railings on either side of the ramp.
● There are stone slabs at the top of the ramp outside the classroom door.
● The door is 90 cm wide.

Dogs
● Both assistance dogs and pet dogs are allowed. Please keep on a lead.
● Dog water bowls are available at the front entrance of the café.
Toilets
● Toilets are located in the café and in a separate block near the car park.
● Separate male and female toilets.
● Gender inclusive accessible toilets (one in the café and three in the toilet block).

● They serve a range of drinks, cakes and lunches, including options for children.
● Gluten free and dairy free options are available.

● It is managed by Café 21 who are part of Sunshine and Smiles, the Leeds Down Syndrome Network. The café is run for and by people with Down Syndrome to offer training and work experience with the aim of creating job opportunities.
