Name: St Stephen’s Well Community Garden
Established: 2013
Garden bio: “just a few metres from a busy junction in inner-city Kirkstall, Leeds, our community garden is a quiet haven from the stresses of modern life. Our growing space is in a public garden where people come to relax, socialise and grow. We have raised beds with vegetables as well as fruit trees and bushes. There are flowers galore to attract bees and insects. It’s run by a small group of faithful volunteers and used by local residents and primary school. Diggers and non-diggers welcome!”
