“My goal is to create emotive, expressive work inspired by a personal and professional experience of mental health. Creating the artwork is an emotional and therapeutic process, using watercolours, fine liners, pastels, and collage.”

“I am a multidisciplinary artist. My work looks at how Mother Nature reclaims and how much time could be wasted through mindless scrolling on social media.”

“I create semi-abstract ‘tree-scapes’, using a wide range of mixed-media painting materials and monoprinting techniques. I try to capture the sense of history and mystery that I feel when walking in the woods.”

“I paint abstract landscapes, flowers, and natural forms. I love watercolours for the way the paint reacts to different treatments, like the addition of salt or granulating medium, creating fascinating textures. I studied for a foundation degree in Fine Art at Park Lane College. I have exhibited at Armley Industrial Museum, Dean Clough, Sunny Bank Mills, and at every Kirkstall Art Trail to date.”

“Wildlife is my muse. I’m utterly spellbound by the beauty of the natural form of animals, and I love to bring them to life in acrylics. I work on a variety of bases from canvas to wood, and in both traditional paint and illustration styles.”

“After taking up yoga for a number of years, I found painting became a new outlet to express myself and invest my time in. All my work has led itself; I begin a painting without any ideas and see what starts to form.”
