- We will provide objects to inspire, but you are invited to bring along your own.
- Handcrafted canvases to hold your masterpiece.
- A personal piece of art to take home.
The Horsforth Hockney and Vincent Van Gob are Take It Easel.
Under the tutelage of a Royal College of Art-educated expert, ‘The Horsforth Hockney’, you are invited to unleash your inner artist.
Whether you have never picked up a brush before, or are a passionate artist, we are a relaxed and safe space for all.
That’s not all; you’ll also have ‘Vincent Van Gob’ curating the music, games, and vibes. Vincent also takes your song rexquests.
So, embrace your creativity and enjoy yourselves in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Book tickets
Sessions start at 1 pm and 3 pm and are 2 hours long.
Tickets cost £5 for children and £12 for adults.
You can prebook your tickets through Eventbrite – Take It Easel, or on buy on the day.

Spoken Word
Activity – 7 pm to 9 pm
Join us at Queenswood Social Club for an evening of poetry and spoken-word performances.
There will also be an opportunity for the poets from the ‘Poetry Trail’ to read their poems before handing the open mic over to the audience.
The event is free to attend. No need to book a ticket, just turn up.

Type of venue
Community – social club.
Routes to Queenswood Club
● There are two options to get to the social club from Kirkstall.
● The longer route is via the main roads/pavements. Along Kirkstall Lane and Queenswood Drive.
● The shorter route is via a footpath that runs alongside the football pitch. See the map below.
● Cross over the pitch and the entrance is next to the Kirkstall Crusaders’ mural (pitured below).

Venue description
● Queenswood Social Club is on Queenswood Drive.
● It can be approached either by crossing the football pitch or from Queenswood Drive.
● There is a tarmac driveway surrounding the social club.
● The entrance way is tiled.
● There are double doors that are XX cm wide when both opened.
Dogs
● Both assistance dogs and pet dogs are allowed. Please keep on a lead.
Toilets
● Separate male and female toilets.
● Gender inclusive accessible toilet.
● Baby changing facilities.
Refreshments
● Alcoholic and soft drinks.
