Chilli Glass

“I am a Leeds-born, now Otley-based fused glass artist. I have worked for over 35 years with glass, mastering different techniques including Tiffany copper foil and traditional leading. For more than a decade I’ve been exploring the process of kiln-formed fused glass, with a special interest in the chemical reactions that take place at high temperatures.”

Hookers and Clickers
textiles – Crochet / Knitting
“Hookers & Clickers (do it for charity) was set up in September 2017 in West Yorkshire. We have created a community of like-minded people in an attempt to make the world just a little bit better. We do this by knitting and crocheting for charities and people in need of a helping hand, making connections through craft. We run short-term, specific-need projects across the UK and overseas for a variety of charities. We are always open to suggestions for our next challenge.”

Pictures With Essence
painting / photography
“We are a self-taught artist and photographer from Leeds, specialising in animal paintings and photography. We take inspiration from our travels, where we have managed to get up close and personal with the animals we have encountered. This has fuelled a passion for capturing the essence of wildlife with a brush and lens.”

Susan Kearton
fused glass
“I was born in North Yorkshire and I have now lived in Leeds since 1997. I have always been interested in creative activities and I have found a material (glass) that suits me well, involving colours and technical skills. I have moved on from smaller projects to larger bowls and dishes, and I now incorporate recycled glass in some projects. My ideas stem from nature, books, the internet, and sometimes serendipity.”
