About the 2025 Fashion Show

In a continuation of the theme from last year, the 2025 Fashion Show focused on environmental sustainability. Designers were tasked with creating eco-friendly outfits, ready to showcase on the catwalk. They could buy textiles from any charity shop, swap them, receive them for free, or use any offcuts. Reusing preloved clothes and saving fabric waste from landfill.

Designers Jackie Peck, Helena Angstmann, and Jax Temple-Smees represented Leeds Hospital Charities. They all volunteer as upcyclers with the Leeds Hospital Charity’s shop in the Merrion Centre. Along with other volunteers, they remake clothes that cannot be sold and are on their way to landfill. Transforming, embellishing, and updating these clothes to put them back into circulation.
