Volunteers Needed

Kirkstall Art Trail needs your help. We want to put on the most amazing weekend of celebrating art, as possible. But we need volunteers to help the Trail run smoothly, and make this free event even better.

Volunteering is at the very core of being a human. No one has made it through life without someone else’s help.

Heather French Henry

This week has been National Volunteers Week (3 to 9 June). Volunteering is an excellent way to give something back to society, it has many benefits both personal and for the community. Volunteering helps mental and physical wellbeing. We think volunteering is fantastic and it allows us to be creative and encourage engagement in art.

Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.
