Jeanne-Louise Art
Painting / hand-painted cards
“It’s a joy to be part of Yorkshire’s thriving creative community. I work plein air and through fusing sketches, memory and imagination in my Otley home studio. People often remark that there’s an evocative sense of movement in my creations, regardless of whether I’m painting bees, dancers, flowers or seascapes.”

Saira Baig
Screen print / linocut / recycled textiles / hand-stitch / machine-stitch
“I am a West Yorkshire-based, multidisciplinary artist with an MA in Visual Arts. I am exploring themes of self, co-existence, and the manipulation of nature within my work. I use a combination of textiles, screen printing, linocut, machine stitching, and embroidery in my work and try to use recycled materials wherever possible.”

Simon Dobbs
Oil painting
“I was born on the border of Headingley and Kirkstall. I studied painting at Bradford College of Art, Falmouth School of Art, and Bretton Hall. Although my subject matter is wide-ranging, the landscape and history of my locality often feature in my work. I paint in oils, often on location, developing images rapidly with broad brush strokes, working back and forth across the canvas.”
