Venue Number 38

co-housing community of eco-build residential houses.

There are two entrances to the Lilac Grove Common House:

From Victoria Park Avenue (on street parking available on this road) access is level, along a footpath and through a small wooden gate, which will be open.

From Kirkstall Mount through the residents car park (no parking available for visitors). The car park is gravel and may not be suitable for wheelchairs. There will be signage to direct you.

The venue itself is on two levels.

Access to the ground floor is level, with a low threshold.

There is a lift to the first floor. The lift is large enough for manual wheelchairs. Access for scooters is limited as there is very little turning space on the first floor

Doors are wide enough for manual wheelchairs (doors are not automatic opening). Access for scooters may be limited – dependent on size.

Getting to Lilac:

Lilac is approximately a 7 minute walk from Kirkstall Hollybush (TCV).

This may be a distance for some people to walk, however it is a short hop on either the 91 or 49 bus from Savins Mills Way. After crossing the river and travelling up the hill (Broad Lane), get off at the first stop.  Ask the bus driver for the Broad Lane Kirkstall Mount stop.

There is secure cycle parking available inside Lilac.
